La o numaratoare atenta a ultimului sau salariu de presedinte, Traian Basescu a dat peste o bacnota de 50 RON contrafacuta. Mai mult, pe spatele ei bacnota avea o bandă magnetica cu microcip în care era inserat numarul fiarei 666.
Banca Nationala a României dezminte orice implicarie voita sau intentionata. A fost sesizat biroul SRI.
